Export Keyboard Maps

User-created Keyboard Maps can be exported to an archive for sharing, preserving, or transferring them to other computers. The archive created by Biblos has the extension BKA (Biblos Keyboard Archive) and is essentially a compressed Zip file.

The export process is divided into two phases:

1. In the first step, a list of keyboard maps to be exported is displayed. You need to select the ones you want to export. Initially, all maps are selected. To select or deselect a map, click the checkbox next to it with the left mouse button or press the spacebar on it. After selecting or deselecting the desired maps, click the Export button.

2. In the second step, a dialog window appears where you specify the name of the file for the export. This is a standard save window containing all the fields to choose the path and file name for exporting the maps. By clicking the Save button, all the selected maps are exported to the specified archive within a few moments. You then return to the Keyboard Maps management window.

The exported archive can be re-imported using the complementary import functionality.
