Word instructions

Instructions controlling the position of the index within a word always start with the letter W (capital W). Below is a list of all available instructions.

- Wb - Word start

Returns TRUE if the index is at the beginning of a word. A word is a sequence of letters and numbers. The instruction only controls the beginning of the word, even if the text string completes the word. For example, if your code contains the text string "bee" and you use the Wb instruction; the instruction will return TRUE when the index is on words beginning with "bee", including the whole word "bee".

- Wm - Word middle

Returns TRUE if the index is in the center of a word. A center is defined as a position that is neither beginning nor end. A word is a sequence of letters and numbers.

- We - End of word

Returns TRUE if the index is at the end of a word. A word is a sequence of letters and numbers. The instruction only controls the end of the word, even if the text string completes the word. For example, if your code contains the text string "to" and you use the instruction We; the instruction will return TRUE when the index is on words that end with "to", including the whole word "to".

- Ww - Whole word

Returns TRUE if the index completes an whole word. As in the previous cases, a word means both a sequence of letters and a sequence of numbers. This instruction is equivalent to using the two "Wb & We" instructions.

- Wi - Start of line

Returns TRUE if the index is at the beginning of the first word of a line. Even if there are some other symbols (other than letters or numbers) before the word, this instruction returns TRUE. As in the previous instructions, a word is any sequence of letters or numbers.

- Wf - End of line

Returns TRUE if the index is at the end of the last word of a line. Even if there are some other symbols after the word (other than letters or numbers), this instruction returns TRUE. As in the previous instructions, a word is any sequence of letters or numbers.

- Wr - real word

Returns TRUE if the index completes an entire real word. A real word is any sequence of letters, or numbers, or punctuation, or other.

- Ws - Word between spaces

Returns TRUE if the index completes an entire word and the word is isolated between spaces or has no other adjacent characters.
