Customizing Toolbars

The Customizing Toolbars window allows you to fully manage the toolbars that make up the Biblos interface.

From here, you can add new toolbars, remove those that are no longer needed, modify their appearance and content, and enable or disable them according to your workflow requirements.

To open the Customizing Toolbars window:

1. Open the View menu.

2. Select Toolbars.

3. From the submenu, choose Customize....

Functions Available in the Customizing Window

• Add: Create a new, empty toolbar, to which buttons and commands can be added later.

• Remove: Toolbars that are no longer needed can be permanently deleted, freeing space and simplifying the interface.

• Properties: Modify the content of each toolbar by adding or removing buttons, or changing their order. Available commands are organized in a list that follows the order of the main menu.

• Enable/Disable: Each toolbar can be activated or deactivated directly from this window, i.e., shown or hidden in the Biblos interface.

This allows you to keep only the most frequently used tools visible.

As with other Biblos tools, blue toolbars are distributed with Biblos, while green toolbars are user-created.
