Adding or Editing a Hyperlink
When choosing to add or edit a hyperlink, Biblos opens a window containing two main fields:
1. Hyperlink Text: In this field, enter the word or phrase that will be displayed in the document and associated with an address. If creating a new hyperlink, the text can be typed directly into this field. If a portion of the document was previously selected, Biblos automatically suggests that selection as the hyperlink text, which can still be modified.
2. Address (Full URL): In this field, enter the address the hyperlink should point to. The address can be a website URL starting with “http://” or “https://”, or an email address, properly prefixed with “mailto:”. It is important to enter a correct and complete address so the hyperlink functions without errors. If a portion of the document that constitutes an address was previously selected, Biblos automatically suggests that selection as the hyperlink address, which can still be modified.
Adding a new hyperlink
To add a hyperlink to a portion of text:
1. Select in the document the word, phrase, or address you want to turn into a hyperlink, or place the cursor where you want to insert a new hyperlink.

Note: The Address field is the only required field. If a hyperlink is added without text, Biblos will automatically use the address as the hyperlink text.
