Biblos 5.100
Update of 05/06/2026
- In the General Options, Advanced tab, the new Scaling option is available. This function allows to increase the size of the Biblos user interface independently of Windows scaling settings, improving accessibility and adaptability of the work environment for visually impaired people. Scaling has currently been prepared and verified for 30% of Biblos windows, the rest will follow progressively in future updates. Biblos responds and adapts its layout both through Windows scaling and through internal scaling, which can also be used simultaneously.
- In the bTactile language, dedicated to tactile and 3D graphics, the new GraphicTransform instruction has been introduced. This instruction allows applying a geometric transformation directly during the graphic rendering phase. It is useful, for example, for performing operations such as specular reflection (horizontal or vertical flipping), without having to manually modify individual elements.
- The color selection component has been further simplified, making it more intuitive and accessible for both sighted and visually impaired people. It now also includes a Pantone box with a complete color palette, directly selectable via mouse.
- New scripts for Jaws. They allow reading 21-bit Unicode characters even in edit fields and list views. They improve reading with braille displays.
- Bug fixes.
