Hyperlinks and Braille Printing
Biblos automatically recognizes the hyperlinks present in the document and includes them in Braille printing, without requiring the user to perform any special operations.
To define how hyperlinks are printed, two settings are available in the Miscellaneous tab of the Braille Settings:
1. Printing hyperlinks
• Enabled: hyperlinks are processed and printed in Braille using the print template. This way, it is possible to represent both the hyperlink text and the associated address.
• Disabled: hyperlinks are ignored; Braille printing uses only the visible text in the document.
2. Print template
The template is a text field that allows you to define how the hyperlink should be represented in Braille. Two variables are available:
• %TXT replaced with the hyperlink text.
• %URL replaced with the associated address.
These variables can be placed anywhere in the template, even combined with other text as desired.
Note: if the hyperlink text and the address are identical, Biblos prints only the text, avoiding unnecessary repetition.
