Add or Edit a Keyboard Map
The add or edit Keyboard Map window is identical and contains the same elements. It is used to manage all the properties of a Map, such as Name, Writing Font, and Keys.
- Keyboard Name: Name of the keyboard. This is the name that identifies the Map.
- Font: Button to choose the font with which the characters of the Map will be written. If the default font is selected, writing will occur according to the current document font.
- Default: Button to reset the font type and set the default font.
- Key List: Displays all the keys of the Map. The list contains three columns: the first with the hotkey, the second with the dead key, and the third with the default writing text. The third column shows how many writing elements the key has, conditions that guide the writing based on its programming. The list is associated with a contextual menu containing the commands already present on its right.
- Add: Button to add a new key to the Map.
- Delete: Button to delete the selected key.
- Properties: Button to enter the properties of the selected key to check or modify it.
- Ok: Button to confirm the addition or modification of the Map.
- Cancel: Closes the window without confirmation.
